If you are, or you want to be, a leader, then you need to be a reader, and a good book to start with is Patrick Lencioni’s The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team. Pastor Jamie just read this book and blogged about it over at Desperation and Destiny; check it out.

I have worked in some capacity of vocational ministry for much of the last 10 years. In that time, I have seen good teams (at a distance) and bad teams (up close and personal). Well, last week I read Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. This book was an awesome leadership model masked as an interesting little fable that uncovered five detrimental team practices and attitudes.

Sorry, but you’ll have to read the blog, or the book, if you want some more details.
