If we want to honor Christ with our lives, then we must seek to do the hard work of earning people’s trust and avoid the shortcut of assumption . . . Just imagine a world where leaders earn trust by being trustworthy; where leaders keep their word – and their meetings, where leaders answer questions honestly (not politically), where leaders embrace transparency and authenticity, where leaders give credit to those who deserve it, and where leaders protect those who follow them.
